THE EXTINCT FACE

THE EXTINCT FACE

After thirty years, he released

Out of the gate world is changed

Now he is full grown matured male

No one is waiting for him,

Near the detention wall, he looked

The wandering a bulky bull

And some stray dogs---others

All the stranger faces,

Running almost for some thing,

The peak hours of life

He sacrificed for some one

The valuable moments of past

Shrouded under the darkness,

Standing under the lamp post

After looking a teen aged boy

He compares the lost golden days,

The missing sequence becomes live

Café Metro—the beautiful evening

Couples were busy to flirting

31st December 1961—winter

Exclusive foods, drinks, smokes

Of costlier branded cigarettes -

And loud music was going on

Suddenly the world was changed

The cops arrested him

Whole the life he couldn’t proof

His innocence, became silent,

Accepted all the allegations

Because he snuffed the most beloved

Childhood friend, after looking her

In the arms of a stranger,

He is standing opposite of

Same restaurant, alone and

Recollecting all the lost faces

Trying to make himself stranger

In the home town---------
